Suzi F., Feb 25, 2009, 4:50AM ESTHi Beverly, can you use your nebuliser with out the mouth piece, just hold it in front of you face, down by your chin and breathe in the mist. I used to do this when I had young children in the ER dept and it worked a treat.
As for the parsley, I would get a few sprigs with the stems as well enough to fill a jam jar, and boil some water and pour it over the parsley, leave it to steep in the water for a while then drink with honey or you can mix in other herbs or green tea, which is also a diuretic.
Do you have any kidney problems?? if you do go easy on the parsley as it's really powerful at cleaning out the kidneys
I think you should ask you Doctor about including alternative medicine with the medication your are on before trying parsley or lettuce or any other diuretics. I don't know if your pharmacist would be able to help you, they would know the interactions of the commercial drugs better than your Dr
Have you a herbal dispensary near you?? I have found all these for you in my gardening records: Hang in there the list is LONG:)
Agrimony, Barberry, Blackberry, Black Cohosh, Black Currant, Blue Cohosh, Buchu, Burdock root, Calamus, Celery, Chaparral, Cleavers, Cornsilk, Cucumber, Damiana, Dandelion, Elecampane, False Unicorn, Fennel, Gotu Kola, Gravel root, Golden Rod, Hawthorn berries, Horseradish, Horsetail, Hydrangea, Juniper berries, Kava Kava, Lady's Bedstraw, Liquorice, Lovage, Marshmallow, Mistletoe, Mullein, Parsley, Pennywort, Plantain, Pleurisy root, Rosemary, Salad Burnet, Salad Rocket, Sassafras, Saw palmetto, Senna, Sesame, Shepherd's purse, Squaw vine, St. Johns Wort, Sweet Woodruff, Sugar Palm, Uva ursi, Watercress, White willow, Yarrow.
Good luck and let me know if you need anything else:)

Beverly T., Feb 25, 2009, 4:18AM ESTHi, Suzi. You mentioned parsley tea. I don't have fresh parsley on hand today. But if I did, you would infuse this, right? How long? Do you have other suggestions?
Thanks for offering to help. I'm still digging around in my boxes trying to find the mouthpiece to my nebulizer.
